Introduction

In this article, I will introduce how to reset the password of an IAM user in AWS.

Click on the Target User in the IAM Console

Go to the IAM console and click on the IAM user for whom you want to reset the password.

Navigate to the Password Change Screen

Open the "Security credentials" tab and click on "Manage console access".

Select the Password Configuration Method

Choose the desired password configuration method and click "Apply". The password for the target user will be changed.

Download the CSV File

Click on "Download .csv file".

The downloaded CSV file will contain the password.
